PROPERTIES:
Season-long weed control in corn, sorghum, and certain other crops. Crisazina* pre- and early postemergence on African oil palm, bananas, citrus groves, coffee, corn, pineapple, sorghum, sugarcane. Contour* for use only on IMI-Corn (corn hybrids that possess tolerance/resistance to Pursuit* herbicide). Keystone* and Keystone* LA for use on field corn, production seed corn, silage corn, and popcorn.
Mode of action: Atrazine is a selective systemic herbicide, absorbed principally through the roots, but also through the foliage, with translocation acropetally in the xylem and accumulation in the apical meristems and leaves.
Uses:Atrazine is used for Pre- and post-emergence control of annual broad-leaved weeds and annual grasses. Atrazine is also used in combinations with many other herbicides.
